Heh. The comma is Europe's decimal point.

Proof that conservatism works every time it's tried.

Tusk = social moderate/fiscal conservative. The Poles on FR have been telling us he is a conservative. He sounds more like a Republican Rino.

Someone wrote that this election pitted Steve Forbes (Donald Tusk) against Pat Buchanan (Lech Kaczynski.) It speaks well for Poland that the choice comes to this.

Too bad the social and fiscal conservative couldn't be the same guy.

Kaczynski is the only one that is right for Poland because he will make sure that the Polish-American alliance gets nothing but stronger. With the election run-off, Kaczynski is sure to win

Kaczynski is the best one in terms of U.S.-Polish relations. He also doesn't trust Russia or Germany - and that is all good.

"Fiscal conservative" usually means pro big business and rather WASTEFUL. It cannot be reconciled with social conservatism ie with the original conservatism.

Looks like the conservatives have taken 69.11%. Hillary ought to take notice. But of course, she already has.

It is relative to say that he is social moderate. In his program he is against abortion, gay agenda etc. However he is not fighting with them actively like Kaczynski.

btw this is funny who speaks about the Rinos huh :)
