Of course that's not true... Certainly my 72 Saab sonnet does not. And on cars that have them, they can be disabled. If someone can hack windows, they can certainly hack a car computer.

Nope. All cars do not have them.
Maybe the new ones do, but none of my pre-1980 vehicles has a 'black box'. I'll keep driving those as long as I can, 'cause I can fix them, too.

My neighbor has a beautiful '57 Chevy. It has no black box. There are probably more cars on the road without those boxes than there are cars with them. If you want to cover up your reckless drving, buy a 60's muscle car. You will not have a black box and you will have a really cool car.
