Thus Roberts, like every senator on the Judiciary Committee, celebrates the court's decision in the 1954 case of Brown v. Board of Education, which dumped nearly a century of "settled law" and precedent by overturning the racist Dred Scott ruling.

LOL! It would help for him to famliarize himself with just a little bit of the subject he's writing about.

Biden is a moron, were things ideal in this country, a supreme court judge would uphold the law; not make or interpret it to suit his idealogies. We don't live in a perfect country (due to liberals) so if Roberts becomes a conservative idealogue later on, so what? Does Biden think that the liberals on the court don't do this? By not answering or answering vaguely his confirmation questions Roberts was only playing by rules set in motion by liberals. I hope Roe vs. Wade gets overturned, it has been a complete failure. Now, women can abort a life for any reason. If abortion were illegal for any frivolous reason, it would still be allowed for mothers' health, rape, incest etc. It would be regulated by the government, just like evrything else is. Repealing this would go a long way towards making our society better and more responsible again.

"In the 1992 case of Casey v. Planned Parenthood, the court relied on "settled expectations" - i.e., Americans have come to expect easy access to abortion - as a reason for upholding Roe."

So the fossilized brains on the USSC think that right and wrong are defined by "settled expectations?"

Sounds like the very definition of anarchy.
