Well, "your brand" of supporting him has worked so well, hasn't it?
"Well, "your brand" of supporting him has worked so well, hasn't it?"
Yup, now there's a chance we'll get a nominee that isn't in favor of affirmative action and abortion. I supported him making the right decision - that's called tough love. We're HIS boss, sometimes you 'bots forget that.
You support him making what YOU think is the right decision.
"You support him making what YOU think is the right decision."
What, I'm supposed to support him in making what I think is a terrible decision? That's no way to act towards an employee.
Apparently enough of his bosses thought that it was a bad decision, too, to kill the nomination.
Since you, too, seem to need to have the last word in our little discussion, you got it.
He's never runnig for office again.
He doesn't need your support.
You dissed him and trashed not just his appointment, but his friend.
The Bush family has an almost Sicilian sense of loyalty ...... and of vendeta.
We will all be lucky if he doesn't sent a message to the loony right by appointing Hillary.
And yes, she would be confirmed by unanimous democrat support along with enough RINOs like Arlen Spector.

You really think Bush is that much of an a-hole?
I really think he is that serious about not being pushed around.
He could even sell it to a lot of pubbies as the only way to take her out of the '08 presidential race.

So you think he's a mean bastard who thinks we're stupid?
No, I think he's as tough and ruthless as a politician has to be.
He doesn't care whether or not you're stupid, that is irrelevant to a second term president.
