If I saw a guy with a beard like this in Vermont, I'd think nothing of it. But is it common for students in Norman to grow a shaggy beard like this? He looks like a Muslim convert to me:

No it is not common for me to see white guys around here wearing this type of beard with no mustache. Only see that on some of the Arab students.
