Black America is about to get steam-rolled and their "leaders" are still fighting the last war.
The whole affirmative action, reparations, White America v. Black America "struggle" is history only they don't know it yet. How will they make their case when it is second generation Koreans, Indians, Chinese, Eastern Europeans, etc making the hiring decisions? I doubt some Korean American who watched his parents work 70 hours a week in a dry cleaner so he could go to Penn State is going to feel too much sympathy for the Jesse followers. Nor do I think that he's going to elect politicians who sing that song.

Accurate comment. What about Bo and Luke though? Weren't they okay?
That's not future history. That's now.
And I will tell you that the animosity (jealousy) is already there and has been there for at least the last decade.
Well said...excellent point. I met a liberal black democrat the other day in a bar. He told me that "colored people" (his words) should get together to fight against the common "white enemy." I love this country and am thankful for being here. This democrat is so mistaken if he believes that I'll support race warfare or affirmative action. No way on earth will his pipedream come true.
In fact, I believe that the greatest problem facing the black community today is their dependence on their race-baiting leaders and welfare. As Jagdish Bhagwati points out, immigrants from Asia succeed mostly because they have a strong disdain for minority-appeasement policies. That, and a strong work ethic.
