Just received a phone call from my Freeper wife, who works at a local hospital here in Las Vegas.

She said that Las Vegas is now on full alert.

All police, fire, EMT leaves are cancelled.

I'll post more as I hear it.

I hope everyone has supplies at home just in case. This time of year is always full of chatter and threats but who knows when the real one will happen.

Best to have lots of emergency water and food on hand. And yes, they best not mess with race fans or they're toast!!

Illinois is the bluest of blue states. . Chicago is the bluest of blue but a look at the election map by county shows how much red there really is here in Illinois. http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/vote2004/countymap.htm I hear ya that we are governed as blue, but I see that changing every election. Chicago ruling the entire state is about Finished Imho.

9 11 is our Emergancy call # and Madrid was 9 11 days after 9 11. You just dismiss that too? Do you HONESTLY think this is ENTIRELY random?
I hear ya about some folks that take it to an extreme. However I would include you in that group at the other end of the spectrum when you just play worthless made up games trying to dismiss completely that there just might be something to it.

Yes, there might be something to what you're saying, or there might not be. Could be purely coincidental. On the other hand, even if it's not, it in no way helps us predict the next attack. After all, 9-11-2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 passed without an attack. And who could have predicted there would be another attack 911 days, and not minutes, or hours, or months, after 9/11? And even if we could have, we live in a massive world, with more potential targets then we could even begin to fathom.

So you may be entirely correct in that some, or even all, future attacks will be somehow tied to some combination of the numbers 9 and 11. But the possiblities are so myriad, that it's essentially pointless to explore them, except as an intellectual diversion.

P.S. I forgot to add, I'm not at all afraid they put thought into WHEN they attack. In fact, I'm convinced they put plenty of thought into it. However, I believe that, forced to choose between some time that entails whatever combination of 9 and 11 and their best opportunity for success, they'd forgo their numerology fetish for success.
