I hear ya about some folks that take it to an extreme. However I would include you in that group at the other end of the spectrum when you just play worthless made up games trying to dismiss completely that there just might be something to it.

Yes, there might be something to what you're saying, or there might not be. Could be purely coincidental. On the other hand, even if it's not, it in no way helps us predict the next attack. After all, 9-11-2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 passed without an attack. And who could have predicted there would be another attack 911 days, and not minutes, or hours, or months, after 9/11? And even if we could have, we live in a massive world, with more potential targets then we could even begin to fathom.
So you may be entirely correct in that some, or even all, future attacks will be somehow tied to some combination of the numbers 9 and 11. But the possiblities are so myriad, that it's essentially pointless to explore them, except as an intellectual diversion.

P.S. I forgot to add, I'm not at all afraid they put thought into WHEN they attack. In fact, I'm convinced they put plenty of thought into it. However, I believe that, forced to choose between some time that entails whatever combination of 9 and 11 and their best opportunity for success, they'd forgo their numerology fetish for success.
