FReepmail me or post a reply to get on or off the DC Chapter ping list.
Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.
Unfortunately, a family medical situation will keep me from attending this week. You've been thinking about coming to this for a long time, would you be so kind as to fill in for me?
Our troops are bold enough to face bullets, mortars, IEDs, and suicide bombers. Are you bold enough to get out from behind the keyboard, FReep in person, and stand up for the wounded troops at Walter Reed?
If you're in the DC area and don't have family or work considerations that keep you from FReeping, can you spare a few hours on a Friday night? Will you?
OK everybody, BillF won't be able to attend tomorrow; we need some volunteers to stand in his place. Who will answer the call?
Note: Bill's shoes are tough to fill; we need at least twenty folks to do all the work he does... manning the multiple facial-recognition digital cameras, setting up the mini-microphones in the shrubbery around the Code PinkO corner, holding an end of the MOAB, transmitting the ultra-high-frequency sounds via the Acme (aka Halliburton) Leftist Discombobulator, WRAMC neighborhood ambassador duties and talking to the neighbors' dogs...
I'll do my best to be there tomorrow night, Bill.
Where I'll be my usual charming, personable self.
Jack.
I'm going to have to come up with a special guaranteed-to-boil-the-blood-of-pinkos sign for you when you return.
Did you see the "mass produced" victory signs? *snrk*
Thanks for the ping.
