Name me the last time that a despondent American did suicide by bomb, only killing themselves. And provide a link. Hint: it happened once, in the early 20th century. And it took out more than 1 person, and was therefore not a suicide.
You need to read all the information. It is reported that he tried several times to get in around half time, but not allowed in, because he had a backpack and would not allow it to be searched. It is said they want to search for alcohol, because they are keeping alcohol out of the games.

The news reports I have seen say he tried to get into the stadium but was denied because of his large backpack.
