Also, they said they would only take this to the public if it was a credible, specific threat....didn't they? Then they said it's NOT credible?????

They wouldn't make an announcement, beef up security, ask people to voluntarily leave home briefcases, baby strollers, etc., unless there was a credible threat and they hadn't caught everyone and were certain the plan was completely disrupted.
Yes, and there are all those NYPD units to explain. IMO, they're playing both ends... don't exasperate the citizens to keep things moving along, but there is a threat, or they'd all be searching for donuts instead. That's the disconnect.
I'd sure take it seriously.
