Having dual standards for Republicans and Democrats - typical fare for the MSM.

"What does all this mean?"

It means there are TWO sets of rules, Democrats' rules (which are evidently made to be broken) and Republicans' rules (which are to be adhered to).

"The major media uniformly should have lampooned Pelosi for posturing as a moral exemplar savaging Delay. But it is too biased to do that."

"Pelosi was fined for having a "fund-raising committee...inproperly accepted donations over federal limits." Her political action committee, Team Majority, "was one of two PAC's Pelosi used to fund candidates..." The multiple PAC's went over the limits by law, according to federal elections officials."

"So Pelosi set up two PAC's to circumvent the limit on what one could do! " DEMS show their true colors, but alas, the MSM doesn't care.

Dual Standards For Delay And Pelosi

There were standards for Pelosi?

That sure comes as a surprise to me. I must have overlooked them because they're too low to see.

The repubs keep taking plastic butter knives to the gun fights with the dems. Honor has no role with the decadent.

"The Democrats do not have a rule requiring Pelosi to resign, even though convicted."

I don't remember Pelosi being convicted of a crime or even being indicted - did I miss something.

But if she was, here is a really ironic press release from her pitching a fit that Republicans might change their leadership rules.

Let's not forget that Tom DeLay had the guts to stand on the podium alongside the leadership of the NRA and proudly proclaim his support for the right to keep and bear arms. That act alone put him in the crosshairs of the mainstream media.

Pelosi gets a free pass on everything from the mainstream media because she's from the People's Lavender Gun-grabbing Republic of San Francisco, also known as Pyongyang by the Sea.

Nancy Pelosi has not resigned, even though she was found gulity of having a "fund-raising committee...improperly accepted donations over federal limits" and fined $21,000.

Sanity check time.

What court of law was Pelosi convicted in? Or is this an FEC fine which is the judicial equivalent of a parking ticket? Delay is being charged with a criminal felony which could result in a prison sentence.

It sure appears that the charges against Delay are trumped up and I am damn sure they are politically motivated, but comparing an administrative finding against Pelosi to a felony charge does our side no good at all.

Pelosi needs to step down and face the music. Why should the public endure a crook who has no interest in them except to use them for an agenda that will not help them in anyway; but enrich her further?

Uh, where's the investigative report about how good ole Nancy accumulated her wealth? Didn't she marry some rich Investment Banker (or was that Boxer or Feinstein)?

i've been asking this question for quite some time. especially, when that tight faced burn victim, Pelosi, gets on stage to start spouting. you can be sure of one thing. ANYTHING that Pelosi or Reid or Schumer et. al....are speaking out against, they are 100% guilty, OF.
