"Bombing of Syria started five minutes ago" --I can only hope. Actually, something needs to be done with them.

uh-oh.. "not the religion of Islam"... I'm putting my freeper flak gear on, no doubts the posts "slamming Bush" will be forthcoming and in big time.
They'll condemn him as the worst President ever for saying this.
Glory. mmm-mm. Somethings are entirely predictable.

I agree, that ones in our own party who are now the harshest ones on President Bush.
He needs all of our prayers.

Goals evil NOT insane. Militant jihadism, Islamo-fascism are different from religion of Islam. Terror against Christians, Jews, Hindus, other Muslims. Mentions Al Queda spreading propaganda to local extremists, mentions paramilitary speratists (list of countries), local cells not centrally directed. Many branches. Scattered battlefields. Vision known because they've said in websites, letters, video, audio. They want to end Mid-East involvement. They HIT US and expect us to RUN. Mentioned Beruit mistake from 1980s!
They want control of a country from which to conduct their war. Mentions potential takeover targets since the 70's. Sets their sites on Iraq now.

The "difference" I see is that "radical" Islam has taken an active role against both the West and those Muslims that don't see the way they do, while "mainstream" Islam quietly plays both sides.

Excellent speech so far.

After watching the Hurricane Harriet coverage I find myself quite bored listening to Bush give his WOT speech. It is now coming from a man I no longer trust. I'm afraid in my heart of hearts I have lost confidence in Bush and given up on him. Maybe it will wear off. I don't think so.
