Someday the bushbots are going to realize that calling everyone names that don't agree with the President is not a winning tactic.
Meanwhile, I think this nomination marks a turning point for Bush. He's jumped the shark and is no longer relevant. He's truly a lame duck now.

I wouldn't be that harsh. Every one makes mistakes. But its up to the Administration to acknowledge much of its agenda has stalled. Time is growing short and while the situation can be redressed, there is a point when people are going to look ahead beyond this particular President. Its time for him to get back on the offensive.

Someday people like you may quit calling brothers in arms derogatory names. It too is a losing tactic.

You sure do post alot of negative stuff about Bush.
"Jumped the shark," well he's not Fonzie.
For one so New (9/15) to FR, makes one go "Hmmm?".

Someday the Bushbots are going to realize that Bush won't do anything to control the borders.
Sure hope for Bush (and us) that Meirs is not another Souter.

I think this nomination marks a turning point for Bush. He's jumped the shark and is no longer relevant. That's a VERY premature obituary there sag. Wait this thing out and see how she handles herself at the hearings before crying out like Chicken Little: "The sky is falling!"

Thats because conservatives will no longer stand up and fight with him. Only the Bushbots will do it now and it won't be enough.

If Bush is truly no longer relevant, you wouldn't be talking about him right now and his decisions wouldn't be so contentious here. And if Miers gets the vote, Bush is VERY relevant no matter what one thinks about Miers.

More likely that Noonan jumped the shark when she blasted the President for mentioning G-D in his inauguration speech.
There certainly is an undercurrent of religious bias rearing it's ugly head.

- Nice turn of phrase. Too bad it has no basis in reality. I think I prefer the phrase, "Bush has snookered the opposition once more."

Someday the bushbots are going to realize that calling everyone names that don't agree with the President is not a winning tactic. I used to think that. But I doubt it's true. They won't admit it, but they are the elitists.

I'm a former bushbot, but you're absolutely right. The list of "enemies" from among the strongest voices on the Right is so great it's clear to me that the administration has screwed this one up something fierce.
