JAYNA DAVIS: Report No. 1 - OU SUICIDE BOMBING CASE
As FReepers are probably aware, Jayna Davis, indefatigable reporter and author of THE THIRD TERRORIST, is on the case of the OU suicide bomber. A local FReeper is giving her assistance. Here are some of the highlights of our discussion a short time ago:
1 - she has spoken to the feed store owner, Justin Ellison . . . Joel Hinrichs III exhibited strange behavior while in the feed store trying to buy ammonium nitrate . . . the store owner asked why he wanted it, and Hinrichs turned away and started mumbling to himself
2 - Hinrichs was dressed in a photographer's vest that was stuffed . . . a wire was noticed sticking out of it
3 - a plain clothes officer was in the store at the time and witnessed what happened . . . Jayna is not clear who got it, but someone got the plate number to track the guy
4 - they did a background check and he came out clean . . . Jayna reminds us that he was a "lily white," just like McVeigh and Nichols
5 - Norman PD could not confirm much for Jayna because this has gone up the food chain . . . they did answer a few questions about procedure, however . . . this would have gone to a special ops task force . . . but what about the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF)? . . . Norman, Oklahoma has no budget for an officer or a JTTF office! . . . Jayna was stunned . . . the area around OKC is on the front line . . . Norman was the home of the former chief pilot of Osama bin Laden . . . Moussaoui got his flight training there . . . Atta and Alshehhi visited the Airman Flight School in Norman . . .Minepta's mosque is there . . . the VP recruiter for the overseas Al-Fatah network was in Norman
6 - the police in Norman did their job after the report of the feed store incident . . . they knew it was Hinrichs right away after the bombing - they knew it before DNA tests . . . Jayna wonders if their quick action prevented a major casualty count . . . Jayna wonders if they possible had done a "knock and talk" on him before the event to shake him up
7 - a local reporter who verbally attacked Jayna before is at it again . . . the reporter is kissing up and apologizing to the local Muslim community
8 - a security guard at the stadium would not give Jayna info about whether Hinrichs tried to get in with the backpack at halftime . . . apparently, that may be the time when some of the crowd leaves the stadium and comes back with alchohol - so the guards look for that . . . Jayna thinks that, had he planned it better, there was a possibility that he could have gotten in with the crowd at the beginning of the game
9 - officials are denying that there was something else that did not detonate . . . there are differing stories in the news
10 - how is this for quick action and approval? . . . OU is erecting concrete barriers at the stadium to prevent a truck bombing
11 - Jayna says thanks to all the FReepers . . . YOU GUYS ARE GREAT
Their reply to your questions may be the typical "request for privacy" lines.
my hubbie suggested that maybe it was timed to go off in the football stadium stands and he ran out of time..was trying to shut it off.
Then Boom!
If you knew what the explosive was, and wanted to detonate it, you'd probably shoot at it, not at the guy's head, which would be a difficult target in low light conditions, although it looks like he was sitting under a lamp post. so that might not have been quite as difficult. A head shot might not detonate the bomb, because the body would or could cushion the fall for the bomb. Shooting the bomb would be a better bet. I wonder it they checked for and/or found any bullets? There were people not too far away, 30-40 yards according to reports, surely they would have heard any rifle shot, even a suppressed one.

From Yahoo, but the map shows it to be very near the campus as described on various threads.
.Minepta's mosque is there . .
W..h..y.. are there still mosques in OK?

No, McVeigh was not recruited at Elohim City. He had casual contact with the security director there and tried to call him (I think) the night before the bombing.
Elohim City is near the Oklahoma/Arkansas border and is (was) either a center for right wing extremist, religious, illegal activity or a meeting place for federal employes.
I'm going from memory here and can't find my notes (travel journal). The FBI was represented by ? Millar and/or ? Mahon, founders and leaders of the evil community. The BATF was represented by Carol Howe. The CIA (or NSA or State Dept) was represented by Andreas Strassmeier, the security chief, who McVeigh tried to call. The FBI allowed Strassmeier to flee back to his native Germany several weeks after the bombing and them being told of his possible involvement. Ambrose Evans Pritchart (sp ?) had a great interview with A.S.
Factor in that several residents of E.C. have been convicted of serious crimes such as bank robbery, murder, etc. (One of them was executed 4-19-93) and you have a pretty good understanding of why E.C. was set up. The place was not infiltrated by the feds; it was established by them.
If you're planning your next vacation in E.C., be sure to wear your tinfoil hat. You may learn about Dr. Louis Jolyen (sp?) West, a government certified expert on mind control and a former director of MKUltra. Dr. Jolly had 2 or 3 visits with Tim while he was being held at Tinkers Air Force Base and possibly 20 more after the evil McVeigh was sent to federal penitentiary.
Unfortunately, Dr. West died in 1997 or 1998 so we'll never learn where McVeigh was recruited.
That's no mosque, that's a fortress! Nothing with that kind of security can be innocent. It is really unbelievable to see.
Either that or someone else triggered the boom remotely.
I doubt both of these theories. If he was programmed by his handlers, he wouldn't give up the mission and just kill himself for nothing. And if his handlers were watching, why would they let him leave the stadium area and go to the bench and blow him up where no one else would be killed? Watching his failed attempts to get in with the backpack, it makes more sense for them to blow him up there, right outside the stadium, in hopes of at least causing panic inside.
After failing two or three times to get into the stadium with the backpack, I believe he went to the bench to be out of sight of gate security while he took the bomb out of the pack and hid it under his clothing. He intended to make another attempt to get past security, this time with the bomb under his clothes. And while he transferred the bomb, he accidentally set it off.
I did read that a tree near where he blew was studded with holes the size of nails as well as some metallic residue or something.
Quoting Doug, here:
"The blogosphere, particularly FreeRepublic, may be the only thing that can stop Hillary Clinton from getting back into the White House. The MSM wants her there desperately. So does Geena Davis (not Jayna). I'm sure she'd get a few nights in the Lincoln Bedroom."
Lincoln bedroom, hell. I'm sure she'd get a few nights in Hillary's bdroom
Sorry but the store either doesn't sell the AN or they didn't have it in stock. The clerk said as much in an interview.
I have seen a photo taken before the bench was replaced which showed a large black scorch mark on the concrete pad, directly in front of where the original bench was. The mark was obviously cleaned before the new bench was put in.
IMO not obvious. It could be a case of ,do this or we Will kill everyone you love. The muzzies use that tactic in Iraq.
Still, it doesn't seem as if it were a powerful bomb.
a U.S. Department of Justice inventory of the contents found by law enforcement officials was visible on the seat,
I wonder if this has to do with the feedstore conversation being overheard by the plain clothes officer and if Justice searched his car at some point in time before the game. I think the authorities were watching Jihadi Joel. Also, the fact the car hasn't been impounded at this point in time also makes me think they already know what's in it....? Am I reading too much in?
