Former Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin admitted in court Wednesday he passed classified information to Israeli diplomat Naor Gilon and to two former AIPAC officials, Steve Rosen and Keith Weissman.
Franklin agreed in court to testify against the two AIPAC officials and to prove that he had indeed passed classified information on to them, and had told them clearly this information was classified.
This was the first time that Israel was explicitly mentioned in the courtroom and that Gilon's name was disclosed. When asked by Judge T.S. Ellis whether he communicated classified information to a foreign official, Franklin replied: "I met occasionally with Naor Gilon from the Israeli embassy."

No, no, no...
You know that the Israelis are our friends, and as such, we don't mind passing one national secret or two to them... /sarc.

Nor do we mind when they attack the USS Liberty. Sadly, you're right.

I support Israel completely but hate these kind of cases. I wouldn't doubt the intel from the
"Phillipino connection" in the White house ultimately ends up in Mossad hands.

Sadly enough, I've seen many a poster here have that same sentiment sarcasm not included. When the AIPAC scandal first broke I was disgusted to see how many people would pass it off with comments to the effect of...."Oh well Israel is our greatest ally in the war on terror so no real harm done."
To: Cecily
Looks like they put some of the four billion dollars we give them every year to good use.
But we deserve to spied on. We're their friends.

No, for passing classified information.
Or do you just turn a blind eye to ethics and protocol breaches when they involve Israel?

Sadly, there are some "Americans" who see nothing wrong with this sort of action, since it merely involves the USS Liberty-attacking Israelis.
We're probably considered 'anti-Semites' for even raising an eyebrow at this.
