Raising taxes on scotch would get Teddy's attention. Government ammo subsidies for poor kiddies would raise Dicky Schumer and Di-Fi's blood pressures. Siccing the IRS on Hill's donors wouldn't be anything she hasn't already tried herself. Spiking Howie Dean's lithium with crystal meth would work. Work to do, work to do...

With all due respect...

...that is absolutely, frickin' HI-larious!

Spiking Howie Dean's lithium with crystal meth would work.

In Howie's case, that would probably function as a sedative...

What you fail to realize is how much progress we've made as conservatives in the past five years. Tax reform, enivornmental stuff, the UN and their stupid stuff like the ICC, the Kyoto Accords, ad infinitum.

It's why the liberals and the MSM have gone nuts.

But conservatives rarely give credit when it is due, because progress is not enough. Perfection is the goal and anything short of it right this minute is treated as failure.

you're probably on to something there... it is the Senate (and House) repubs that are the problem more than Bush.

look at the crap he had to take from his own party (my rino senator) to get Bolton in to the U.N. of all places, magnitudes less important then the USSC.

and it isn't a case of a few weak ones spoiling the bunch... it is a challenge to name 5 strong outspoken conservative senators.

Who is WE? Conservatives have given up the ghost. Just look around here.. PC prevails.. just try and talk about illegals. Tax Reform is enough for some, as if that's good enough to cover GW for abdicating his oath on Freedom of political speech, Eminent Domain and the borders to name 3. These are DOMESTIC concerns. And IMO, on the domestic front, the conservatives have been stabbed in the back over and over. Ignoring Sandy Berger.. commending IDIOTIC deals struck by the Senate on judicial nominees.. sure.. tax cut...tax cut... yummmmmmm tax cut. Some things are worth more than money.. Like the constitution. JMHO>

And Boxer. I would add the Swimmer, but I don't like the idea of having too much of him ooze out of a whip welt...

The Bushbot spew devolved into utter worthlessness on Tuesday, at the latest. You're late to the party, dude.

LOLOLOL! I wish it were for real. Actually I'd love to see the Supremes with Robert and Miers rule that filibusters of judicial appointments are un-Constitutional. Talk about poetic justice. Of course someone would have to bring a suit ....

There won't be entrails on the Senate floor until there are entrails on the floor at the polls. Fake conservatives, cut-and-runners, RINO's and other hapless, feckless, milquetoast types need to be culled from the herd and sent to the glue factory before there will EVER be any entrails on the floor of the Senate.

Anyone who thinks we currently have a Senate team that can "bring it" in a straight-up ideological battle seriously needs to up their meds.
