I hope most of you can discerna load of elitist horse dung when you see it. Bush dared nominate someone Will doesn't think is "good enough". So this article twists and turns 99 ways to beg the republican senate to dump the president's nominee. this article is horse manure and it's not the first time by Will.

You're the one who's twisting the facts; Will is simply saying that the Senate has a responsibility to assure that whomever is nominated to the highest court of the land should be of a caliber of intellect and experience to contribute meaningfully. I hope the elected members of the U.S. Senate believe that to be true regardless of who the nomination is, or who makes the nomination.

I agree. He did not give any real explanations for his statements about her lack of ability to be a good Supreme Court Justice.
I need to learn more about her legal background before I make up my mind. He did not help me there. He lambastes the President for saying "Trust me." It sounds to me like George Will wants us to trust his elite intellectual reasoning without giving us anything solid to go on.
I want to know how knowledgeable she is of the Constitution and what her interpretation is on the most important points. Does she adhere strictly to the Constitution as written, or does she feel that it is out of date and the Supremes get to reinterpret it as they see fit in order to modernize it.
