AN Australian health care provider is looking for a man with the balls to have a vasectomy on television.
Not-for-profit sexual and reproductive health provider Marie Stopes International wants an Australian man to reproduce the efforts of a British man who submitted to the procedure live on TV last week.
Father-of-one John Klapvijk, 40, went under the knife in the UK last week and said the worst thing about the operation was the ribbing from friends watching the footage.
Marie Stopes International Australian CEO Suzanne Dvorak said the health provider wanted to dispel common misconception about the procedure, including pain and its impact on sexual performance.
"Vasectomy is a safe and reliable, permanent contraception which is ideal for men who do not wish to have any more children," Ms Dvorak said.
"We would love an opportunity to show the Australian public how simple and relatively pain-free this procedure is."
Any man willing to be filmed undergoing the procedure should contact 1800 003 707.

This would be almost amusing if it wasn't for the fact 'Marie Stopes International' is a global baby killer.

It's been done on the Discovery channel in this country already.

You have to wonder about those who would sit down and watch a man getting a vasectomy on TV.

On the Discovery channel is was done as a legitimate medical procedure, not as reality TV.
However a vasectomy sure beats an abortion any day of the week.

and it's so much less invasive than a woman getting her tubes tied.

It aint easy. I laid in bed and watched it with my ex wife almost ten years ago. She seemed to get a special thrill out of watching it.

Question for all brilliant Freepers:
How do you get a vasectomy to reverse without actually having a reversal?
(Still regretting hubby's vas 9 years ago)
To: Lizavetta
I think prayer is your best option there.

I think prayer is your best option there.Would God side with me given that hubby doesn't want any more kids about as much as I desire more?

Steve Dahl of Disco Demolition fame did it on the radio years ago.

I give frequent prayers of thanks for my vasectomy. I love my kids (boy/girl twins, 13 years old), but I am not interested in more. If either you or your husband want no more kids, I think, respectfully, it would be a horrible mistake to have more.
