LOL! I am not a fan of pleats and can understand why you wouldn't be either.
My bane was the big pile of tablecloths (all linen) and also my father's shirts.
The hankerchiefs were the prizes, because they were easy to do. :-)

Linen tablecloths... I had forgotten... snif...snif... why would a mother do that to a child... memories were embedded... now they're seared... once again seared... into my memory.
