Linen tablecloths... I had forgotten... snif...snif... why would a mother do that to a child... memories were embedded... now they're seared... once again seared... into my memory.

I still have my iron and ironing board. They are antiques now. LOL. Mainly cuz I don't use them. My ironing board is nearly 40 years old.

LOL! My mother wanted the free labor. And in the end, I developed great survival skills and I learned never to have a bad attitude about honest work. :-)
