I,ll bet it will end up being a hoax,just like most of these finds are.Isn't the preceeding sentence end with dangling participle?
If so, Dangling Participle Alert.
Now to it...what will you bet? More importantly, what other "finds" are a hoax, in your professional opinion?

Do a google search on "fake archaeological items".
There are thousand if not millions of them.
There are to many for me to even bother listing.
There are actually cases of archaeologists using super glue to glue things on prehistoric animals to try and create a new find.
