Theoretically, requesting an exemption under 552.267 should be automatically approved - since the courts did the same for some other TX records requested by some Dem think tanks over the past few years.

Hope you're right.

I have doubts.  The section leaves it up to the governmental body (Ronnie Earle) to determine whether or not the exemption will primarily benefit the general public.

I don't think Earle will find waiving and exempting charges will benefit the general public when doing so allows outsiders to poke around in his interests.  I think he'll comply, but he won't make it easy or cheap.

Perhaps so, but if we can get the request into the MSM, or FNC, and make it public, then requesting any exemption or denial would not look good for Earle.
