Fourteen men are being held without bond on charges of kidnapping and raping an 18-year-old woman in Immokalee [Florida] last weekend. Each man was charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and sexual battery by multiple perpetrators. Each defendant faces a sentence of up to life in prison if convicted.The woman, after being treated at a local hospital for injuries she suffered in the attack, is in protective custody, said Kristin Adams, a Collier County sheriff's spokeswoman.
According to sheriff's reports, all but one of the men listed his address as 827 Rebecca Drive, the address where the woman said the rape occurred. The exception was Rene Perezgarcia, 22, of 823 Rebecca Drive.

Odds are you are correct. However they could be "guest workers". There was a report on CNN last night about the total chaos in INS and their approval system for green card holders, practically non existant. We have no idea who is in this country, legally or illegally.
