Well, Tx, she just doesn't want those undocumented, brown skinned workers taking the jobs of LA residents. Dorgan had a picture of some of them in a bunk house. They were clearly Mexican. Said the conditions were filthy, etc. It sounded pretty racist overall.
NOW she is against illegals...betcha she wasn't so much before Katrina...
She was probably really freaking out about Wilma doing a lot of damage and taking tax dollars out of her hands.
What makes me even more sick is....last week when Coburn was trying to pass amendments redirecting some of the money from pork projects into the Katrina funding...SHE was all for that, and voted FOR Coburn's amendment...
I just wanted to puke...both she and Vitter voted for the one amendment that would have taken money from various states' projects for Katrina...although I felt bad for Coburn, I was sort of glad because of she and Vitter.
