Whew....I don't know, this might take a while to settle down, unless somehow Miers withdraws her name, or she gets voted DOWN...
If she is confirmed....I see a lot of people jumping off the sides of the Good Ship Bush, in droves!!!
Same players, different context, lots of noise, very little news, facts or analysis. Typical FR in other words, just more of it because an issue is on the table.

It's too early to reach that conclusion; and FR does not come close to representing popular/public sentiment. I know I won't be voting for his 3rd term. ;-)
Thinking people take things issue by issue. SCOTUS nomination is a big issue, to be sure. And this nomination is unsettling to me for a variety of reasons - none of which impugn Ms. Miers ability or inclination.
