I heard on my local news yesterday that 2002 Ford Explorers that were selling for 17000 two months ago are now selling here in the DFW area for under 13000. Dealer stated he was having hard time selling them at the discounted price.

I drive a 30mpg 1995 Acura Integra and thought recently that I need a new car. However, since my Integra has only 150,000 miles it is still good for another 10 years and 150k before I need a new one.
