Not exactly. I'd settle for a qualified conservative. Not that the Senate would approve such a person, but they'd be worth fighting for in advance of settling for an unknown mediocrity.

By definition if it's "unknown" how can you be so dead level certain that "mediocrity" will rule the day? I'm truly amazed at the large number of Freepers that are so certain that GWB is all washed up and burned out, and are thus rushing headline to try and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

And that is the point entirely. Her utter lack of any professional qualifications. If the Senate confirmed someone who was never a judge, whatever her politics, whatever her religion, they would be derelict in their duties.

Christians are being set up to fail in pushing a weak, unqualified candidate.
