I agree with you, Roberts had his share of naysayers in the beginning as well, now he is Chief justice. I trust W on Miers.

Impossible. We have officially left the reservation. One thing is for sure, she is no Scalia, and she is no Thomas. Bush stabbed us in the back.

He could have chosen one of MANY solid conservatives. But he chose a friend of his instead - knowing full well that his conservative base would balk.

He just kicked dirt in the face of many who worked hard for his election and reelection.
