but I can't let them get away with bashing POTUS and smearing his nominee, all the while claiming that "they're the base and that they're owed better." Ditto, onyx. With some of the blind attacks against Harriet Miers here (and the President, of course), I am amazed that any of the doom and gloomers really think that they're better than anybody.
I look at a person's character to determine what I think about him or her. And I see character in the President, and very little, if any in those who hate him. And yet they think they're superior.
It's an amazing phenomenon, onyx.
