It's an amazing phenomenon, onyx.

Yes it is, ohiowfan, and it's one that's normally reserved for democrats. Hey, maybe "they're" the STEALTH ones, huh? Masquerading as GOP. Ya think? LOL!

I've said it from the beginning, onyx. Disagreement among conservatives with President Bush about public policy and political issues is a good thing (I disagree with him on several issues).

But those who reveal a visceral hatred for him (and thus on those of us who support him), have serious problems.

Most of them are democrats, but a few..........fortunately a very few.........of them are on the extreme right.

At any rate, they use the same words, and are indistinguishable one from the other. I would find it extremely disturbing if I aligned myself with the left, but the 'purists' seem to be proud of it.

Haven't waded through all the posts here but it looks like President Bush is interested in a grand compromise, offering as his choice a woman who most likely will rule in favor of homosexuals but also in favor of the death penalty and abortion limits. Bush must figure that's good enough. Re her sexual preferences, whatever.

I am firmly against alternative marriages but my reasons are for national security. Legally allowing males to return from overseas with immigrant males as spouses is a really really stupid thing to do.
