You may want this fight, but NE republicans will not go along. What do you suggest?

Do you think all the RINOs and all of the Democrat Senators from red states could hold together and reject 5 conservative nominees in a row? How about 10? They might, might, be able to reject two.

75% of the population would be outraged by the third rejected nominee and then you hit send up an African American woman...game over.

They keep saying Bush is a poker player but he keeps folding pocket aces preflop.

Don't kid yourself. 25% of the population doesn't care, another 25% isn't paying attention. The other half of us is who cares about this, with about 15% of that 50% being 'independent', without a dog in the fight. If all they see is recalcitrance on the part of the Dems over a nominee who doesn't seem, to the independent voters, threatening to the Dems in any appreciable way, how do you think those voters will react come the next round of Congressional elections, especially when the Dems intransigence can be shown in TV commercials?

When has any Republican showed that kind of willingness to fight? It's not going to happen. If you were the President, you would have to face that fact. By the way, what do you know about this nominee that suggests she doesn't have a good conservative philosophy? I will wait to learn. If she does not have a conservative philosophy, then I'll protest.
