Good morning.
Billie and dutchess, I have a bit of bad news. We took INK to the vet late last night--she was acting very different. She was diagnosed has having incurable cancer of the spleen. We considered putting her to sleep, but they said there was no pain and that she would die on her own very soon. We decided to enjoy her company for a little while longer.
So, dutchess replace the cybercheese with a prayer that INK makes it to dog's heaven.

The FBI has a new way of tracking terrorists.

They are now able to see every click they make on the internet. Privacy advocates say this is bad, but the FBI says you will never even notice, and it won't affect the common man at all.

Happy Surfing!

I had to go and accomplish some things, came in to wash my hands, check to see any IM messages from my sons, and see what the latest on FR was and WOW, not sure but seems as if lot of people think the President just went mush. Not sure what to make of things right now.

You are so correct. I like to a least know something about a person before I make any observations, and boy there are a bunch of unglued posters this day.

You can say that again!

I mean, they are judging the "book" before they read it!

" not sure but seems as if lot of people think the President just went mush. Not sure what to make of things right now."

Through the years, I've found it prudent to like the admonition at railroad crossings, to "watch-look-listen," and never make snap judgments on anything.
The advantage of today's era is the instancy of cable news and the internet to fill in some of the blanks. We soon will be filled to overflowing with "opinions," and at some point will be able to form one of our own.

So far, what I can see is a woman who had to blaze a major trail in a man's world. That might seem a bit foreign to you these days (although I don't know your age, j mt), but Once Upon A Time the Glass Ceiling was a very solid brick wall.
So far, I can admire her intelligence and tenacity, and her ability to soothe the savage beasties called Men, and how she managed to gain their respect and acceptance..:))

Without a doubt, there is no human who can achieve universal approval, each of us having our own criteria for "perfection."

I'll sit back, park myself in neutral and sort through the many things that will be revealed about her - listen to the applause and all the slings and arrows, look for "facts," and eventually decide what I think of her... .

I think I am just going to trust that this President knows exactly what he is doing. The DUmmies and Has-Been Media have been misunderestimating him for 7 1/2 years now, and it won't stop now. He reads people better than anyone I know and will have made a sound decision in the end!

One More Thing - - look at President Bush's choices in the past - Cheney, Rumsfeld, Condoleeza Rice, John Roberts, etc.!!
Most of us would agree they were good ones.

What if it were you on the Hot Seat having to make these kinds of decisions; and in this case, someone who can BE confirmed by a tough Senate?!!

I am comforted knowing GWB and Laura are persons of strong faith, always looking to God for guidance and strength and wisdom.
