IMHO, we need to ensure that we continue to have a society - then we can worry about it's morality. It's going to take a high-profile Republican to defeat Hillary, someone with strength and gravitas.
To me, and it's only a personal opinion, Rudy's stand on social issues, while often at odds with mine, don't mean a hill of beans when compared to a maintaining a strong offensive posture in the war (alone, if needs be), strong defense and implementing strict immigration controls.
Rudy may not be what you want socially, but he can beat Hillary, and to me that trumps everything else.

"Anybody but Hillary" will work about as well for us as "Anybody but Bush" worked for the Dems.
