WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Small amounts of a bacteria that causes "rabbit fever" were found on Washington's National Mall last weekend as thousands of protesters marched against the Iraq War, U.S. health authorities said on Saturday.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said several government environmental air monitors in the Mall area detected low levels of Francisella tularensis bacteria that cause Tularemia, commonly known as rabbit fever, on September 24-25.
We'll probably never know how this happened.
Are all the dumbass protesters now coming down with rabbit fever?
"Symptoms usually appear 3 to 5 days after exposure, but in rare cases can take up to two weeks."
Sure it does, but you need tight tinfoil.
So, the mental illness that causes Liberalism may have a bacteriological toxin/contagion connection.
Kill the Wabbitt, Kill the Wabbitt, Kill the Wabbitt, Now!
Come on man! You know one of us deranged freepers put it there to stifle the anti-war movement!
"it wouldn't make sense for them to release it on their own crowd."
Hang on, let me get some fresh tin foil here...
Okay, ready.
It would make sense if they thought they could blame it on "right wing terrorists."
"What is tularemia?
One of the worlds most contagious diseases. Also known as rabbit fever, it is caused by Francisella tularensis, a rare bacterium carried by small mammals including rabbits and squirrels. Humans typically contract the disease from contact with the tissues or body fluids of infected animals, or from the bites of infected insects; tularemia cannot spread from person to person. Experts say that if tularemia bacterium were used as a weapon, it would probably be aerosolized, thereby causing an especially serious, inhaled form of the disease."

If it was us, we'd have distributed warfarin-laced hash brownies.
Censors ? Sensors !
""it wouldn't make sense for them to release it on their own crowd.""
My thought was it might have come from residue on someone planning to weaponize it but on this particular day they were just hanging out at the mall.
Like reptiles and the risk of salmonellosis they pose, touching a Sheehan-ite can be hazardous to your health. They are walking swarms of bacteria.
Back in the `70s, their parents were contracting mange, `thrush-tongue', strep and other eye, ear and nose infections, hair-mites and other similar maladies that humans share when in close proximity and not practicing basic hygiene.
"Symptoms of the disease, which an infected person would have begun experiencing no earlier than on Monday, include: sudden fever, chills, headaches, conjunctivitis, diarrhea, muscle aches, joint pain, dry cough and progressive weakness."
Progressive weakness? BAHAHAHAHAhA!
Progressives are all about weakness!
They got Rabbit Fever all right!
Their PARENTS? Have you seen how old most of these creeps are? They are the SAME old hippies that were 19 back in 1969.

Yikes, that stuff is bad. We have cottontails and ground squirrels running all over this property. They're not looking so cute anymore.
It's the extreme liberal plague. Infected libs should be rounded up and quarantined at Gitmo (the more humane of 2 options).
As I mentioned to TS, we have bunny rabbits and ground squirrels all over the place here. Not good.
Here's a thought: are there rabbits and squirrels around Camp Casey's various sites? I could see where you could pick something like this up in a rural campsite. They could have it on their clothes, or on the soles of their shoes.
Is that too tinfoil?
