I guess they can't "bring home the pork" anymore either.

I think I'd find a pigskin jacket and gloves for the fall...

Disgusting how many Westerners fall all over themselves attempting to appease the unappeasable.

Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practising Muslim, backed the ban. He said: “It’s a tolerance of people’s beliefs.”

How about some tolerance by muslims of non-muslims? Why is it that they can't tolerate anything that offends them?

In case no one has heard, it's now the Islamic Republik of Britainistan..You'd think Britain would demand Muslims accept being in Britain, instead Britain is being made to think they're in a Muslim country...(shakin head)..they're winning in Britain without firing a shot..

Other office workers should display Crosses, Crucifixes, the Star of David on their desks and office walls. After all, 'tolerance for the beliefs of others' is now a precedent.

That's exactly what the problem with muslimaniacs are, they just don't get enough bacon in their diets.

Hot Spam egg, Spam, Spam, & bacon sandwiches everyday for lunch; pig skin shoes & belt; pig leather briefcase; pork-pie hat, though that may be too subtle for them to understand.

Pray on every break & at lunch. Wear a prominent cross.

Any other suggestions to show how "tolerant" the hamophobes are?

Muslims don't like pigs because pigs remind them of themselves.

And in that comparison, it's the pigs that should be offended.

When was the last time a Jew asked that Piglet and Winnie tissue box be removed? This isn't about being offended. It's about control.

At least when pigs fly they don't fly into buildings.

“It’s a tolerance of people’s beliefs.” Riiiggghhht. This Muslim is living in England and enjoying the benefits of an open and tolerant society where he can rise to the position of councilman. Brits are not offended by pigs. It is the Muslim who is not being tolerant or even courteous to his host country. Brits, push back!

"Councillor Mahbubur Rahman, a practising Muslim, backed the ban. He said: “It’s a tolerance of people’s beliefs.”"

"Tolerance" would be if the Muslim had accepted the American culture of real religious tolerance and decided that people's desk decorations are their choice, not his.

I'd love to see that Islamo-whacko try to tell an old fiancee of mine that she shouldn't wear a piece of jewelry in the shape of a pig.

She was a Bianci Cup contender. She holds a record in one of the competitions, too - as I remember. '-)

As a member of the other religion that doesn't approve of pigs, I find this Muslim a perfect example of why he, and his entire religion and his co-worshipers are inherently antithetical to both America and to Judeo-Christianity.

I think it was Madison who noted that certain things were antithetical to Liberty. Islam is one such thing.

Time to wake up and read the Koran, all ya' dhimmis. Mo the Camel Abuser still wants to impose Sharia "law" on Americans, office by office, desk by desk.

“It’s a tolerance of people’s beliefs.”

Tolerance.

Political correctness.

Environmentalism.

These are the new fanatical religions which will bring down the West if we do not fight against them.

The Middle East was an intellectual powerhouse before a certain religious fanaticism ended it.
