Long Beach Airport Police had been called in to talk to the man because of “suspicious behavior.” They confronted him near the airport late Sunday night.
The suspect, an unidentified 27-year-old from Long Beach, is in custody at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries. He has been charged with attempted murder of police officers as well as a weapons violation.
6 web sites later...and still no name of the suspect.
It could be he may have had no ID and/or it could be he's in no
condition yet to talk.
I don't know.
