Well then they will fool/hoax us into not acting so quickly next time or not at all. That may be their plan. Cry wolf syndrome.

"Indeed, S. Korean authorities leaned on defectors not to divulge
highly incriminating information on N. Korea. After some defectors
revealed that N. Korea's chemical weapon's research using live human
subjects for experiment got out to Western media, the authorities
restricted their freedom to travel abroad, and pressured them to talk
about it any further. "
I would guess that it wasn't the run of the mill meth lab. There would be no reason to kill himself over that. Now, if he's cooking up some kind of explosives or chem/bio stuff and he's caught then yes.. BANG. I don't think the real terrorists want to be caught alive since they will go to Gitmo and/or give up what they know one way or the other. That's probably a no no in the jihad training manual. :)
Here's the info on the arrest in ATL:
It looks like the incident at Georgia Tech yesterday falls into the category of "copy cat" or "stupid freshman trick" instead of terrorism.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting the following:
A Georgia Tech freshman confessed Tuesday to setting up explosive water bottles in a campus courtyard, school officials said.
Theodore Hollot, 18, was charged with felony possession of a destructive device and reckless conduct, a misdemeanor.
Hollot, an engineering major from Pennsylvania, was suspended from school pending the investigation, said Georgia Tech Assistant Vice President Amelia Gambino.
Gambino said the incident was "not a terrorist attack."
Tech evacuated two dorms Monday morning after a plastic water bottle exploded in a campus custodian's hands. The employee, who complained of ringing in his ears, was taken to a clinic for evaluation, but was not seriously injured.
The Atlanta police bomb disposal squad detonated two other suspicious bottles found in the area.
Finally after posting all this it seems to me we've had a lot of incidents at colleges in the past two weeks. OU, Georgia Tech-dummy, UCLA, San Diego for starters.
Pig Arabic, because of its unclean nature, is comprised completely of swear words, making every sentence a curse. Those cultures find Pigs unclean, so "Pig (language)" would be unclean as well.
re: "...odor..."
Fuming nitric acid (>70% conc) has a pretty unmistakable odor that cannot be easily suppressed... Fundamental to nearly all high explosive production.
Only a rank amateur would uncork that in a populated building without a dedicated exhaust system.

SNIPOct. 11 A top general of Irans elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps issued on Tuesday a direct threat to the United States and its allies, warning that the Islamic Republic had identified all the weak points of our enemies and has suicide operation volunteers ready to strike at these sensitive locations in retaliation to any attack.
We know all of the enemies weak points and what to do against them. Today, we have ready martyrdom-seeking individuals who are ready to strike at these sensitive points, Brigadier General Mohammad Kossari, who heads the Security Bureau of Irans Armed Forces, told the state-owned news agency ILNA.
Kossari said that Irans enemies were bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan and were looking for a way to escape. Enemies of a nuclear Iran could not do a damn thing to stop the Islamic Republic in its nuclear pursuit, he said.

From the North County Times wire services
SAN DIEGO - A man who fatally shot himself in his University City condominium during a standoff with San Diego police was identified Saturday as a 29-year-old student.
An autopsy is scheduled tomorrow on the body of Khaled Yasufi, medical examiner Investigator Sal Rodriguez said.
Police were sent to the 8700 block of Costa Verde Boulevard after someone reported a strong odor coming from a condo about 1 p.m. Friday, SDPD Sgt. Jim Schorr said.
A man in the condo told officers everything was fine and shut the door, Schorr said. Within a couple of minutes, a gunshot was heard, prompting police to clear the building, Schorr said.
Police eventually sent in a camera-equipped robot, which transmitted images of a body in the unit. When officers made entry after a standoff of about six hours, a chemical lab was found in the bathroom of the condo, police said.
Rodriguez said he did not know where Yasufi went to school.
Call me a bit cynical here but can someone please answer these questions for me?
Where is Khaled Yusufi from?
Is he Muslim, as his name would indicate?
What mosque, if any, did he attend?
Why did he find it necessary to shoot himself when the discovery of his chemical lab was imminent?
What chemicals did he have in his lab?
Where did he attend school?
That's good for a start...
