Thanks Jer33 3
Thanks all4one.
I appreciate updates on both these articles.
Lucy, do you have a url handy for that article?
If so, could you post it?
THANKS.
Give 'em hell!!
That's ok Lucy...I have the url.
I think they've taken care of that themselves.
I'd look at all the people with backpacks or bulky jackets in the
surveillance cameras which are in the vicinity of the stadium near the
exit gates "just prior" to the time of the explosion. Wonder what the
temperature was? Well, we may not be able to read minds, but if
you're a mother like myself, you have eyes in back of your head. :-)<<<<<
It should have been cold enough for a good coat, as it is
here some nights.
In NW Arizona, I am middle temps, not as cold as Flagstaff or as hot as Yuma.
My kids are not at all positive that I am not a mind reader,
and now I have 5 GreatGrand kids. LOL and eyes all over my head.

"'Dirty bomb' source removed from UNH campus"
By TONY BERTUCCA
Special to the Union Leader
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "WASHINGTON A federal nuclear security agency has removed a radiological device from the University of New Hampshire that could have been used in the construction of a "dirty bomb," according to federal and university officials.
It was one of 13 such devices recovered across the country this summer."
ARTICLE SNIPPET #2: "Gammators were also removed from sites in Alabama, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Utah, according to the agency."
Thanks JP for the inffo.
I like to watch some of the parades on TV.
October is a good cool month for running.
THANKS for the event info JP.
Thanks to JustPiper for pointing to this article:

Ten arrested in terror raids
(Filed: 08/10/2005)
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Anti-terror police have arrested 10 people in raids at three addresses in London and the Midlands.
Those arrested are being held in connection with an ongoing investigation into suspected international terrorism in the UK, Scotland Yard said.
The investigation is separate from inquiries into the events in London during July.
Three men were arrested in Croydon, south London, four in Wolverhampton and three in Derby.
At around 4am police executed warrants at three residential addresses, making a total of 10 arrests, all on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000, Scotland Yard said."
About 1 1/2 years ago, a bunch of kids got sick on milk in Indonesia.
I sent the Promed to a friend, whose wife is from Indonesia.
She replied that the poor kids in Indonesia rarely had milk to drink and that was all she had for idea's.
Keep in mind that in China and Russia the childrens schools get poisoned often and there is a mystery disease in Wales, at the school.
I have seen reports on China schools at Promed more than once, where the children were fed rat poison in their soups.
School kids in the Philipines are dying, due to a possible
plant that they eat, but it must be prepared just so, to be
safe. There has been about 3 or 4 different cases in the past year. Why would they feed a rare plant dish to the kids in school lunches?
Does the fact that the President of Ukraine was poisoned before the election play any part of this incident?
I drink buttermilk or eat yogurt for an upset stomach, as a
kid we ate clabber, which is just milk that is sour to the solid point and about what yogurt is today.
With goat milk or even cow milk, the bacteria has to be introduced into it, a sick animal or filthy milking set up, or there is always the goat who waits till the bucket is full to put a foot in it.
The cow always waited till the bucket was full and then kicks it over.
Ditto.
The removal was part of a continuing national project to recover
little-used radioactive materials that pose a threat to public health and
national security, according to a statement the agency made on
Monday. <<<<<<<
If there is this much radioactive material laying around in our country, can you imagine what can be found in some of the other countries?
Dr. Bill Wattenberg, has always said there is not a problem with getting it or the people who know how to use it in making a dirty bomb or a Hiroshima type bomb.
The Hiroshima bomb is a simple 'shotgun' type bomb.
Randy and Vickie Weaver happened on Bush #1's watch.
I am not sure who was in charge of the FBI then.
Randy Weaver won several million dollars in his lawsuit against the Government.
Waco, Texas was the Reno/clinton murdering rampage of women and children, and another church taken off the growing list.
Waco is called a cult. Where they, I have read that the Church was older than the Mormons, but then many still consider the mormons to be a cult.
You might call Free Republic a cult if you were hilary.
When Waco was taken out, so were other small churches.
It was the beginning of what we see today, no God is allowed.

"There They Go Again"
"Justice Department Clamps Down on OU Suicide Bomber Facts"
Oct 8, 2005
by Mark Tapscott
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "It was only hours after Joel Henry Hinrichs III blew himself up Oct. 1 near 84,000 football fans at the University of Oklahoma when federal officials claimed he was just a troubled young man with no links to terrorists.
But then yesterday the U.S. Department of Justice asked a federal court in Oklahoma City to seal the search warrant officials there used to get into the apartment Hinrichs shared with three or four students described by neighbors as Arab-looking men.
If Hinrichs acted alone and had no links to terrorists organizations or activities, why seal the search warrant? What did investigators find in Hinrichsapartment that they dont want the public to know?"

Had it been explosives in that baby stroller and a tragic event were to ensue, I'll bet hundreds of people would call to "witness" they had seen it. Pretty sad people are so self-absorbed and unconcerned about anyone except themselves.
That law enforcement and security ignored the stroller altogether is foreboding of the lack of seriousness with which they tend to possible terrorist threats. That reporter should have been taking down names and numbers and turning them in to Homeland Security. All it will take is one weak link and hundreds if not thousands will perish for that/those person(s) disregard.
In this case there is no possibility of using that material to construct a Hiroshima type bomb - it's simply the wrong element, it isn't capable of either a fission or a fusion reaction.
The Hiroshima type bomb requires a critical mass of an element that is capable of a fission reaction. It also has to be of a sufficient purity that the mass can be contained within the critical radius - these two numbers are specific to every fissionable material. That's going to be the biggest sticking point, since that requires a pretty good quantity of a sufficiently pure and specific isotope of the element - usually uranium or plutonium. There are a few somewhat tricky issues about the construction of the "shotgun" and the trigger mechanism but they aren't at all insurmountable once you have the reaction mass.
A dirty bomb is a whole other animal - almost any radioactive matieral will do, and the more radioactive the better. In fact uranium isn't a particularly good source since even the fissionable isotopes aren't radioactive enough (!). There are any number of such elements - radium, radon, cesium-137, etc. Once you have that (and it's just about everywhere - paricularly in hospitals), it's quite easy to construct a dirty bomb from it.
The barrier for constructing a "dirty" bomb is much, much lower than for a true nuclear bomb.

JORDAN DONATES $100,000 TO HURRICANE RELIEF
The Kingdom of Jordan has made a $100,000 donation to assist victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
At a meeting held at the Archdiocese of Washington's Pastoral Center, Cardinal Theodore E. McCarrick, Archbishop of Washington, thanked Jordan's Ambassador to the United States Karim Kawar for the gift.
The donation was made at the direction of His Majesty King Abdullah II, who according to a news release delivered an address at The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 13.
King Abdullah talked about the disaster. The news release reported he said, "We are all in God's hands. And together, we are called to a common duty to help, to share, to comfort and heal to build a better future for every person on our earth."
Ambassador Kawar noted, the news release reported, that the donation was "a small token," and said His Majesty chose "the Archdiocese of Washington because it is a leading organization in channeling effective aid to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita."
According to the news release, Cardinal McCarrick called the contribution "not just a symbolic gift, but a great blessing."
"When I met with His Majesty earlier this year, we spoke of how nations might walk together in unity, fellowship and love. I offer my deep gratitude to His Majesty and to the people of Jordan for this extraordinary gift, which will assist the many people who have suffered so terribly from the recent hurricanes," Cardinal McCarrick said.
He added, "It is an example of how we may all work together, regardless of nation or faith, to help our brothers and sisters in need."
According to the news release, the funds will be distributed to dioceses and Catholic agencies in the affected regions that are providing direct assistance to people of all faiths who are in need.
