The only issue that David Gibbs can ever remember Jesse Jackson and Rush Limbaugh agreeing on was the fact that Terri Schiavo should remain alive.
...
Gibbs called removing Schiavo's feeding tube "barbaric and uncivilized." Florida law does not allow the starvation of animals and the constitution does not allow the starvation of convicted murderers, he said.
...
Felos said faith-based organizations, religious leaders, priests and rabbis distorted the facts in the Schiavo case.

I don't watch a single sitcom or network series. Used to but not for a very long time now. Terri died a terrible death My friend recently died from cancer and there is a huge difference between the care she got and the 'care' afforded Terri.
God sees and takes note, when it's time we'll all answer!
I wouldn't want to be in some people's shoes when that day arrives!!!
I'm not in the mood to mock evil after what evil pulled off here in Florida, THE STARVATION STATE.
I put up a few tame halloween decorations in the house but that's it.
Besides, the merchants of death tried to murder Terri before October 31, 2003 but they failed that time.

We haven't participated in ghoul day for a long time. If up to me, I'd hand out candy with gospel tracts attached, but hubby doesn't want to do that so that's that. LOL
There are enough verses in the Bible about God's disdain for witches and such to convince me it's not the holiday for me to do.

The Schindler family gained national and international attention over the course of nearly 20 years as they pursued legal means to preserve the life of their brain injured daughter Terri Schiavo. The battle ended abruptly last March when Terri's feeding tube was removed by court order at the request of her husband Michael and over the objections of the Schindler family, who sought to care for Terri themselves. Through the establishment of the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, the Schindler family continues to raise awareness and seek humane treatment and respect for the lives of the disabled members of society.

The panelists included:
Judge Richard Jones, who presided over the case of Gary Ridgway. Known as the Green River Killer, he pleaded guilty to 48 murders in Seattle.
Judge George Greer, who oversaw the Terry Schiavo case. Schiavo was at the center of an intense right-to-die case when her husband sought to have her feeding tube removed. Greer granted the removal in March and she died 13 days later.
Mark Geragos, lawyer for Scott Peterson, who was convicted in November of killing his wife, Laci and the fetus she was carrying. Peterson was sentenced to death in March.
Gerald Schwartzbach, lawyer for actor Robert Blake, who was acquitted of charges of murdering his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley.
Michael McCann, the prosecutor in the case against Jeffrey Dahmer, who was convicted of killing 17 boys and men in Milwaukee.
Many at the conference lamented the blurred lines between "entertainment media" and legitimate news organizations, and agreed that much of the public accepts the information offered in news-entertainment shows as fact.
Others said even mainstream news organizations sometimes present stories in a sensational manner and allow these types of stories to eclipse more important news, such as civil-rights issues and government misconduct.
Many participants also suggested that cases such as Peterson's, a basic wife-murder trial, erupt into national news stories because people become invested in the lives of the players.
"Laci was the victim of the crime, but she became the heroine of the story," said Peter Shaplen, a media coordinator for the Jackson and Peterson trials. Laci's mother and Peterson's mistress became the victims instead, he said.
"We embrace victims," he said. "And TV becomes their champions, the investigator and the inquisitor."
FV SAYS: We embraced Terri. Look at how Greer's footnote says he granted the removal of the feeding tube. In reality, HE ISSUED A DEATH WARRANT. "Granting" is much too soft a word for what judicial tyrant and criminal Greed did to Terri. LOOK AT HOW MANY MURDERERS' CASES WERE COVERED AT THE CONFERENCE. HINO lumped in with murderers where he belongs!
But then, aren't we all!!!!
Yes, The Empire Journal and staff rock!
Thanks, 8mmMauser.
Another great one from The Empire.
I post from there when they have breaking news regarding Terri, the judges, the Fla AG, any and all corruption that they uncover.
"Watching someone being starved and dehydrated to death, let alone your own daughter, is something so cruel that it can never be forgotten. Terri's dying face was skeletal. Her skin was blotchy, parched and peeling. Terri's lips and tongue were cracked and dry. Witnessing her life ebbing away as she desperately struggled for a breath of air is beyond the realm of human comprehension. Yet, the euthanasia death merchants, who were responsible for inflicting Terri's suffering, had the audacity to say she died a peaceful death with dignity.
"No, we will never forget the agonizing starvation death Terri suffered. Nor will we ever rest until each and every one of the perpetrators who orchestrated Terri's death is brought to justice for their crime against humanity.
"Over the past six months we have been conditioning ourselves to adjust our lives without Terri. Although Terri is no longer with us, her legacy will live on. We are comforted knowing Terri will be instrumental in saving the lives of the vulnerable, who are in jeopardy of becoming innocent victims as Terri was herself. As a family, we have vowed to do everything within our power to prevent anyone from ever experiencing the same tragedy that Terri endured.
... "We welcome you to join us and support us in our efforts to restore society's declining value of a "human life." We may have lost the battle to save Terri's life, but we have absolutely no intentions of losing the war against euthanasia". www.terrisfight.org
FV SAYS: "brought to justice". That's why I'm here. I can only imagine how much Terri's blood relatives want all involved brought to justice someday. It's a tall order but I'm with them. Why was Terri made an example? Why was she murdered by the State of Florida? Why did the US of A let them do it?
We would not be routinely torturing people," Gore said. "We would be a different country."
And, a jpeg of Greer in a Nazi uniform and hat.

FV SAYS: This protection act is the one that Judge James Whittemore, Fed District Court in Tampa IGNORED when he refused to restore Terri's feeding tube and hydration. J. Whittemore should be arrested for defying congress and the POTUS. Tom Delay was right all along about the "little judges". But, look what little judges pulled off.
Bet those two nurses were the two who were fired from Hospice Woodside & ended up being interviewed by Hannity. Attorney Weller also heard Terri try to say she wanted to live. That was right before Terri started crying when she realized the tube was coming out. Imagine knowing that your food supply was going to be cut off and your water. Frightening, isn't it?
FLORIDIANS, SUPPORT TOM GALLAGHER (R) FOR GOVERNOR. Charlie Crist is part of the culture of death - and he would ever be able to take an oath to protect all Floridians with a straight face? No, never!
