Just now, Chris Matthews on "Hardball" went after New York leftist Mark Green for calling this a "corrupt" administration. To which Matthews shot back, "Any convictions? Can you name one conviction? One person in this administration who has been convicted of a crime?" To which Green mentions the indictments of DeLay and Jack Abramoff.
"They don't work for the administration," says Matthews. "Can you name a single instance of proven corruption?"
Green, as is his wont, hemmed and hawed and licked his lips. Ben Ginsburg, the Republican on the other side, just stayed silent. Props to Chris.
nope but it is pretty cold here in Dayton today :)
Oh, yes. Boosh is evil, yet no one has been convicted of anything OR fled the country by the hundreds (as in the case of the morally virtuous Clinton regime).
Maybe after Peter King read Chris the riot act about the political echo chamber, he thought things over a bit.
I saw that pig fly when Monica's dress stain came out. Matthews went at Clinton-- for a single week if I recall correctly. He's probably looking for a temporary ratings injection this month.
Wow. No pigs here, flying or otherwise. Pretty amazing of Matthews, though.
Mark Green is such an unsavory, snotnosed dirtbag that I can see even Matthews defending the administration just to make him look stupid, but wow!
OMG........ Is it going to snow in Tampa tonight?
No pigs, but it IS raining.....

He could have REALLY buried this guy by contrasting to the Clinton reign of crime!!
Wow!
Well, I've always said that pigs fly all the time--ever seen how much a hummingbird will eat? I call them "hummingpigs."
GEEZ! Look at the size of the crap coming out of those damn flying pigs! INCOMING!!!!!
I think a 400lb sow just went by on rocket assist...
Wow.
"To which Green mentions the indictments of DeLay and Jack Abramoff."
And those aren't convictions. However it does show the liberal mindset of "guilty period" in the case of republicans.
I think we could safely call this the "King Effect" :)
Ya think Matthews would have the guts to say that to Pelosi or Reid?
Sometimes even Matthews has an off day.
