And we'll get the job done, even if it takes ever right, freedom, and dollar we have.

Someone, somewhere might be getting high right now!

Our founding fathers, were they here today, would demand that we use every resource available to keep that from happening. Even lies and tyranny.

I think if the founding fathers were here today, they would see the type of civilization we live in and the density of the population and would tell you to grow up.
You are not living in the open ranges of the 1700's anymore and everything you do can also fall upon your near by neighbors or the state and national treasury.

Our founding fathers were not gods and life has gone on in America since those wonderful men have passed. They gave us a wonderful foundation on which we are still building a great country (recreational drug use not inculded).

Your ridiculous with your money argument regarding illegal drugs as you would in not wanting to spend money in murder, which takes investigations, court time, jail and can often be tied to drugs as well.
Perhaps you should think about giving up the adoration of recreational drug use or pro-recreational drug use politics and take up fishing.

Yeah. They just forgot to add the special eleventh amendment to the Constitution that said: "Amendments I - X only hold for low population densities."

I can't let that one pass. That's the same logic the liberals use when they call the Constitution a "living document". You want to read the minds of the founders, and then apply the Constitution the way YOU THINK they would have wanted?!

The BS meter is pegged. The Constitution is what they meant. Plain and simple. You think they didn't anticipate growth? You think they didn't anticipate change? Or do you just believe you are smarter than they are and thus more capable of deciding how we should govern ourselves?

Sounds very liberal to me.

You are right. I should quietly give up all of my Constitutionally guaranteed rights so that we can catch those damned drug users. Even though I don't use drugs, my neighbor might, and that means the whole neighborhood is suspect. Likewise, if I'm carrying large amounts of cash, I need to understand that it is ok for the government to confiscate that cash, my house, my car, and whatever other assets I may have because even though I'm not a dealer, this law might actually keep one dealer from dealing evil drugs. Also, alcohol and nicotine are not drugs, because they are legal and not harmful to society. So people should be able to abuse those drugs I mean substances and it's ok, but whatever the government says is harmful must be harmful just like they say. Our founding fathers anticipated the scourge of drugs. That's why they included a footnote at the bottom of the Bill of Rights that said it's ok to toss the whole Constitution out as long as it's to stop people from using drugs. Also, George Washington refused to grow hemp because he knew drugs were bad and should be stopped at all costs.
