"If I choose to freely join a club or organization, I have the responsibility to live and act by the values that club or organization holds to be important. If I don't, then I may choose to leave that organization."

My point exactly. However, neither you, nor your fellow Wahabbists, nor Opus Dei, nor the good Sisters of Charity make the rules for that club. God does.

In fact, had "The Faithful" abided only by your view of "The Rules", we would never have found out the depth of the depravity that existed within the bowels of the sacristies and covered up by the various Arch Bishops and Cardinals.

Indeed he does. And the Bible also tells us what we should do if we have a fellow church member that continually lives in sin and corrupts His church as well. The 'Faithful' abided by those letters accordingly. Excise the person from the group and have nothing to do with them. If it means catching them one at a time then so be it.

Surely we would have. God's word is clear that He will bring that which is in darkness into the light. And please do not think I'm defending the Catholic church. I specifically stated little c, as in universal, encompassing all Protestant religions.

The rules of the Roman Catholic Church on earth are largely made by the popes as Christ's Vicars on earth, whether enemies of the Roman Catholic Church like it or not. We are NOT subject to rules construed into "existence" by every or any "reformed" Tom, Dick and Harriet with a Bible and a few reading lessons.

LOL -you have no point!!! Your argument is completely a moral relative argument -hence, without basis!

On what basis -upon what authority, do YOU attempt to disparage others as Wahabbists -on what basis do you declare that Opus Dei, or the good Sisters of Charity make the rules for the "club" -regardless YOU even mentioning specifically what rules YOU have problem with -what rules you implicate ambiguously with the certainty of moral relative conviction...

Other than hot air -what are you communicating specifically? The Church teaches clearly YET you reference no Church teaching? Should any chance putting their faith in the message of another simply because he bellows loudly?

You sound an awful lot like luther -a protestant...
