Middle Village is a fairly nice neighborhood in Queens. Strange that nobody has reported her missing.

"I got lost when I was sleeping," she said. "He [her father] took me in the car and took me outside with no shoes..."

She "got lost while she was sleeping." In other words, she was abandoned. Poor little kid.
