My brother, Eric, will be attempting to get his children back legally from his estranged wife in a little more than 5 hours. He has not seen his children, Korin (age 10), Damon (aged 9), and Aaron (aged 8) in over a month, and they are his entire life.
My sister-in-law is an extremely disturbed individual with numerous psychiatric and physical problems, and ran away with the children one day while my brother was at work. He does not know where any of them are, has had no telephone contact, and has been searching frantically for them ever since.
Would you please pray that Eric can be reunited with his children, and that none of them come to any harm? Unfortunately, my brother lives in a state that automatically assumes the mother to be the better caretaker, but in this case I am hoping the judge will see otherwise.
My prayers are with these children this evening, that the Lord will intercede on their behalf.
I have been thinking of your family since you originally posted and they continue to be in my prayers.
I recently had a prayer request on FR. I was amazed at the responses and the results.
The Lord works.
Oh my. Eric and the children as well as you will be in my prayers. Thanks for the update. I've been thinking of you all.
Please post your replies to Aracelis
Aracelis, My prayers continue for your brother and his family. God's protection for the children...God's comfort and guidance for your brother.
Blessings,
trussell
If you want on/off my prayer ping list, please let me know. All requests happily honored.

Thank you so much, Cathy. The response from our beloved FReepers has been incredible, and the effect on my brother has been remarkable. He knows now that somewhere, any time of day or night, a FReeper is praying for him and his children. There is no other online community that can come close to that much love.

Thank you very much, Bear_Slayer! Yes, this little community is quite remarkable. Praising the Lord for answers to your prayers!
That is terrific news. However, and this is tough, there should always be someone with Eric and his children. There is always a chance that the wife can fabricate events. A third party makes a great witness, not only for his protection but to counter statements made by the wife or children.
Please keep us updated. Sounds like the guardian knows the situation by cancelling the supervised visitation.
You can count on my prayers for your Eric's success in court and that the children will be safe
Should read: "your brother Eric's success."
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Will keep you informed. Glad to hear about the supervised visitation being lifted, but advise Eric to be cautious. My DIL even tried to say my son had pinched his daughter, and luckily for him the supervisor had been present and said the incident had not happened. Your SIL sounds like she's just as unscrupulous as my DIL. Will anything else be decided soon besides the lifting of the supervision? I sure hope Eric is granted more rights! Please keep us informed, and we will keep the prayers coming your (and Eric's) way. God Bless you all!
