Which is why hunters should NEVER get the luggage rack option on their hunting vehicle. Looks just like whitetail antlers. I was rabbit hunting one time and crossed paths with some other hunters. About the time I am broad side of them about 50 yards away, they jump a rabbit and it ran right at me. I turned my back to them just in time to get sprayed with the buckshot. Didn't draw any blood fortunately. I just hustled on away from the moron for fear I would shoot back.
Buckshot on a rabbit? Sounds like the idiot was out to kill something, anything. Including you if you got in the line of fire. You're a lucky hunter to have walked away unscathed.
