Sorry, didn't mean to imply it was 0 or 00 buckshot. I would guess it was number 6 or 8 shot. 00 would have put me under at that range I suspect. As was, it just stung like the dickens. I may have sworn under my breath a little. They may have even heard the part about their maternal ancestry.
I had a brown duck game vest, Carhart overalls and an insulated Carhart jacket on. Yes, did have the requisite orange hat and had orange on my game vest. I was most defintely not dressed as anything that was in season.
