I figured instead of an expensive subscription to the NYT, I would just publish the corrections every week. This way, you get the news without the bother of reading the lies, propoganda, and falsehoods so prevelant in the regular paper. Think of it; no more wondering if the story is accurate! Just read my paper that contains only their corrections! What do you guys think? Can I make any money with this idea?
Website is a better idea.
What do you think FREE REPUBLIC is for?
Maybe Judith Miller or Maureen Dowd? (shudder)!
Also, web site would be better, but I'm too lazy to do either.
Good Point.
Between FR, Rush, Tony, Dennis, Hugh, Michael (2) and Neil, we've got a lot of correctin' going on.
Put that pic up in front of your house, you'll never get robbed. I keep it in my wallet to prevent mugging!
Hate to spoil your fun, but this was done for years. You could just go to the site and read the corrections from the NYSlimes.
no fun spoiled here, but seriously, is it just me or has the MSM always been this inaccurate? or does GWB just bring it out in them? I am 36 and don't remember the major newspapers having so many corrections. Maybe we're just catching them now? I'm just waiting for them to run with the dog/bait shark fishing thing(alrady pulled from FR earlier)
It's just that now there are other venues to point out their 'mistakes'.
Rather was printing false stories about Viet Nam, Cronkeit was printing false stories to promote JFK, and the list goes on.
We were gullible for the longest time.
The lies against Nixon were because he went after communists and they couldn't tolerate that.
