It does have a smell of "the dark cloud hanging over the republican party" thyme to it ... doesn't it?

The dims have spent the first 4 years of the Bush presidency hoping for, then demanding, a scandal that never materialized. Following that, they have unsuccessfully tried to manufacture scandals over the next 2 years. They are so desperate, that if a fly lands on a picnic bench in DC they will declare that Bush is a disaster. We really need a new word for "loser", because the old definition hardly suites these pathetic clowns.

I have always wondered what the Dem/MSM talking point of this leak being a "retribution", a "payback", for Wilson writing a critical article.

How would this leak be "payback" in the first place? What would this accomplish?

I just don't get it.

I thought Cheney's people or whomever was explaining to a reporter that the reports of Bush sending Wilson we not true, and that the CIA was supposed to send someone, and since his wife worked there, that she probably recommended him for the trip.

Why is that illegal?
