Thank you so much for your post! Indeed, I wish everyone would keep that history in mind - but sadly, I suspect many ignore the history simply because there's more of it than time permitting.
People tell me they are 'keeping their powder dry'. Come 2008 election time, your site will be very, very popular I predict. Sadly, at that point, there won't be enough time for people to really look into everything. I would rather we begin now.
